FP 237 - Cinematography I

Prerequisites, FTV 130 and animation and visual effects or film and television production or film production or television writing and production major or production design for film minor. A study of motion picture photography as a means of communication. Includes lecture and practical application on camera operation, lenses, filters, film, digital media, exposure, composition, formats, location and studio techniques, and laboratory procedures. Some section may be restricted to film and television production and/or film production majors only. Letter grade. Fee: $300. (Offered every semester.) 3 credits
