LEAD 397 - Leading as a Way of Serving: Pursuing Your Purpose in Life and Work

Prerequisites, LEAD 302, and declared leadership studies minor, or consent of instructor. Contrasts Western conceptions of leadership with Eastern, Native American, and feminist models. Participants explore their purpose, workaholism and life-work balance, and focus on leading as a way of serving. Leadership theories are supplemented by experiential exercises, case studies, self-assessments, and a required weekend retreat. P/NP. (Offered every year.) 4 credits
