TH 377 - Playwriting

Prerequisite, TH 150, or TH 170, or consent of instructor. This course is an introduction to the art and craft of dramatic writing for the stage in which the student will study structure, theme, and character while pursuing a completed one-act play. Students work one-on-one with their instructor, meeting every week for teaching/discussion. Letter grade. (Offered fall semester, alternate years.) 3 credits
