CSP 622 - Supervision and Mentoring in Professional School Psychology I


Prerequisites, successful completion of CSP 534 , CSP 535  and approval of fieldwork site by program coordinator. This is the first course in a two-course series for the Internship in School Psychology. Students may not begin any fieldwork hours until all previous coursework has been successfully completed. Students are required to complete a minimum of 1,200 hours of fieldwork during this course and CSP 623 . Internship hours will be completed in accordance with CTC requirements specifying the number of hours that must be in schools or in approved alternative settings. Internship hours may be completed on a full-time basis over the course of one academic year, or on a part time basis over no more than two consecutive academic years. In addition to the required field experience, students are expected to participate in an on-campus seminar and group supervision each semester. Some sections of this course may be offered as hybrid courses or online only. Pass/No Pass. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
