MLD 505 - Foundations of Leadership Development

Prerequisites, acceptance into the Master of Arts in Leadership Development Program. Examines theory and practice of leadership development, with focus on ways to create sustained positive change in individuals and institutions. Topics include: Servant leadership, bureaucracy, classical leadership theories, systems thinking, personal mastery, leaders as teachers, team learning, articulating vision (values, strengths and legacy), emotional intelligence.
