EDUC 752 - Critical Historical Discourses: Challenging Orthodoxies


Prerequisite, Ph.D. in education major. This course examines the historical discourse of U. S. education through a critical lens that views history as fluid, dynamic, shifting, nonlinear, and socially constructed. The narrative of educational history and the interpretation of that history within the context of present history are emphasized. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
