PRA 273 - Student Advertising Agency


Prerequisites, PRA 230 , or PRA 231 , and consent of instructor. This class provides an introduction to the culture and operations of an advertising agency. Students conceptualize, develop, and create a sales presentation of a real advertising campaign for a real client, typically as part of the National Student Advertising Competition sponsored by the American Advertising Federation. Students make a formal pitch for the business from the client, competing with other universities for the privilege of implementing their campaign. Fee: $75. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
