The B.A. in Art History allows students to explore the arts within a broad historical and cultural context. It is an excellent preparation for graduate school and for art-related careers.

Students pursuing the B.A. in Art History are required to:

Maintain at least a 2.000 grade point average in the major.
Earn a grade of “C” or higher in major courses, unless specifically noted.
Complete all courses in the major for a letter grade.
Complete 21 credits from upper-division courses in the major.
Complete a minimum of 60 credits outside the discipline of the major.
Complete the Senior Thesis requirements AH 498a , AH 498b .
