Environmental Studies, MinorThe Minor in Environmental Studies is designed to offer students a sound foundation in the scientific, political and cultural approaches to studying the environment. Students electing the Minor in Environmental Studies may study in a broad range of subject areas, including sociology, economics, philosophy and political science. Students electing the Minor in Environmental Studies take 21 credits. These 21 credits include two required core courses and any combination of elective courses chosen among the approved list for the Minor in Environmental Studies. 12 credits may not be duplicated by the major or any other minor. In addition, a minimum of 12 credits must be at the upper-division level.
