Holocaust History, Minor

The minor includes study of the origins and history of the Holocaust within the context of European and Jewish history and an exploration of the central themes and topics in Holocaust research. In support of their classroom learning, students are encouraged to attend the lecture series presented by the Rodgers Center for Holocaust Education and to engage in research opportunities in the Sala and Aron Samueli Holocaust Memorial Library and the Oskar Schindler Archive.

Students enrolled in either HIST 495 or HIST 499 will complete a capstone independent research project of or equivalent to a 20 page research paper.
