Graphic Design, Minor

The Minor in Graphic Design is available to all students at Chapman University with a departmental application and portfolio review. A student must provide 8 to 10 examples of art and/or design work they have completed and a one-page written rationale describing their interest in a graphic design minor. The full-time graphic design faculty will review the application for approval in May. Before enrolling in graphic design courses, students have to formally declare the associated minor, complete required prerequisites and/or get faculty approval. A minimum of 24 credits, at least nine of which must be upper-division, are required for a Minor in Graphic Design.
