FP 545 - Virtual Production Workshop

Prerequisite, DCFMA Major. An on-set virtual production practical course using Unreal technology to create and shoot on the Dodge LED stage. Working with a short script, students will utilize and create physical and digital sets and film on Stage D with real world and virtual cameras. Students will gain experience in real-time production techniques including camera tracking with the Mo-Sys System, synchronizing real world lighting with virtual lighting, and integrating real world props and sets with digital sets on the LED wall. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
