SW 508 - Coverage Workshop

Prerequisites, SW 527, graduate standing; screenwriting major or consent of instructor. Students will examine the purpose, history and craft of writing studio coverage for feature screenplays in the Hollywood studio system. Students will read scripts and compose coverage, which they will refine and revise for use as professional samples. Letter grade. This course may be repeated for credit. (Offered as needed.) 1.5 credits
