SW 501 - Writing for Diverse Characters

Prerequisite, graduate screenwriting major or consent of instructor. This workshop explores ways to create, develop, and write for characters that are diverse in terms of race, gender, ethnicity, or social status, and may embody a minority status that the writer cannot claim. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 1.5-3 credits
