PHRM 787 - Pharmacokinetic Analysis Using Industry-Standard Software

Prerequisite, PHRM 631. This elective course will use software that is used by the pharmaceutical industry, FDA, and academia to analyze pharmacokinetic data for the purpose of estimation of pharmacokinetic parameters. Both model-independent (non-compartmental) and model-dependent (compartmental) methods of analysis will be used. The students will first learn about the theories of quantitative pharmacokinetic analysis, followed by hands-on analysis of data using commercial software. The students will receive a copy of the software to be installed on their own computer for use during the trimester. Pass/No Pass. (Offered as needed.) 2 credits
