PHRM 791 - Pharmacy Shark Tank

The role of the pharmacist is expanding rapidly which presents both new opportunities and complex challenges in the current practice environment. This course is designed to equip students with the skills and mindset needed to identify, confront, and address these challenges by developing unique, realistic, and actionable solutions to them. The culmination of this course will be the development of a written proposal to address a ‘big challenge’ in pharmacy practice, which students will subsequently present to a panel of faculty and other judges in the style of the hit television show ‘Shark Tank’. Pass/No Pass. (Offered as needed.) 1 credit
