AVE 402 - Advanced 3D Computer Graphics for Visual Effects

Prerequisites, AVE 202B, animation and visual effects major. 3D Computer Graphics III provides a continuation of the digital animation production process begun in AVE 302 with an extensive overview of the intermediate to advanced tools and techniques in cinematography and compositing for 3d Animation. Shading, lighting, rendering and compositing techniques using applications such as Maya, Redshift, and Nuke will be covered at advanced level. Letter grade. With consent, this course may be repeated for credit. Fee: $75. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
