PHIL 318 - Political and Legal Philosophy


An examination of significant moral issues in politics, society and law, illuminated by contemporary and historical writers. Topics include punishment; defending a guilty client; moral rights, theories about the just society, liberty, war and terrorism. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered every year.) 3 credits
