PHIL 309 - Religion, Knowledge and Evil

(Same as REL 309.) In this course, students will examine important contemporary theories of knowledge that support the rationality, justification, and warrant of religious beliefs. Students will also assess the merits of those religious epistemologies in the face of arguments based on evil and suffering. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered alternate years.) 3 credits
