FREN 340 - Cuisine in French Literature and Film

Prerequisite, FREN 201, or consent of instructor. This course is a thematic survey of some selected French literary texts and films about the topic of food, eating, and cuisine. Emphasis will be placed on reading and critical analysis of primary and secondary texts and films in French and English. Students will write in French. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered alternate years.) 3 credits
