TWP 545 - Television Pre-Production: Series

Prerequisites, TWP 501, TWP 514, TWP 628, all prerequisite courses must be passed with a grade of C+ or higher, graduate television writing and producing major. Using scripts generated in TWP 514 - TV Series Development, this course will provide an intensive theoretical overview as well as actual hands-on training in pre-production and production methodology. Students will replicate the real world experience of producing a single-camera television episode. In addition, students will learn and perform the various roles necessary for a successful production. These roles will include both above-the-line and below-the-line departments and procedures. Letter grade. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
