MUS 696A - MAT Music Education Capstone

Acceptance into the Master of Arts in Teaching program. Taken during the final semester of the Master of Arts in Teaching program. Students will design a culminating project that reflects their area of expertise. These projects provide evidence of theory, research, reflection, or action that challenges existing oppressive structures in teaching and/or schooling and demonstrates the potential for transformation, social justice, and educational equity. Students select one of the following options: action research project, curriculum development, quant/qualitative research, and case studies. Letter grade. (Offered summer session.) 3 credits
