PHRM 526 - Pharmacist Care Delivery II


Prerequisites, PHRM 512, PHRM 523L, PHRM 535, PHRM 537, PHRM 540, PHRM 543, PHRM 622L, PHRM 632, PHRM 642, PHRM 651, PHRM 672. This course provides students with opportunities to apply and integrate concepts from the previous and concurrent therapeutic courses of the CUSP curriculum in order to provide patient care services in various settings. Students will be expected to apply the Pharmacist Patient Care Process (PPCP), utilize drug information and evidence-based medicine resources, and demonstrate effective communication and various patient care skills during weekly course activities. The goal of the Pharmacist Care Delivery course series is to help further develop student readiness for and success during Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences and is a pre-requisite for APPE Transitions. Graded. (Offered every year). This course includes a lecture and required laboratory component (2 credits lecture/1 credit lab). Numerical grading. (Offered every year.) 3 credits
