PHRM 621L - Drug Delivery Systems I Lab

Prerequisite, PHRM 621, doctor of pharmacy major. This course is the laboratory component for Drug Delivery Systems I. In this laboratory, students acquire hands-on experience with physicochemical properties of drug molecules and their effect on formulation, manufacturing, and administration of solid and liquid, and semisolid products. Pharmaceutical calculations and contemporary compounding and dispensing techniques are introduced and practiced. Numerical grading. (Offered every year.) 1 credit
