PHRM 584 - Clinical Pharmacy Review

Prerequisites, PHRM 524L, PHRM 525L, PHRM 540, PHRM 543, PHRM 546, PHRM 549, PHRM 552, PHRM 577, PHRM 578, PHRM 642, PHRM 651, PHRM 681, doctor of pharmacy major. This course will prepare students for their Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience rotations. It will reinforce students’ critical thinking skills and application of clinical knowledge acquired from, but not limited to the integrated therapeutics courses. Class sessions will comprise of various topics for patient case discussions, and case-based small group exercises. The main topics will include patient workups, specific common diseases/conditions and treatments, evaluation of lab values, and pharmaceutical calculations. Pass/No Pass.
