FTV 510 - Industry Insiders

Through screenings, interviews with experienced filmmakers/industry executives, and in-depth discussions, this course will provide a broad overview of the current and fast-changing landscape of the Entertainment Industry, focusing on Film, Television and Streaming. The objective is to provide students with thorough exposure to how the “Business” really works. Students will develop a critical understanding of the modern entertainment industry and will apply the skills gained in this class to create a career plan for their future in this industry. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
