FP 398C - Practical Application of Editing

Prerequisites, FP 115, instructor consent required, DCFMA majors and minors only. An exploration of current technologies and procedures employed in film and television post-production. During production students will engage in story development by way of coverage, pre-production planning and VFX (if applicable) planning and deployment. During post-production students will gain practical experience editing, conforming and color grading. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. This course may be repeated for credit. (Offered every semester.) 3 credits
