SCAC 480B - The Business of Acting for Screen Actors II

Prerequisites, SCAC 480A, senior screen acting majors only. As a follow up to “The Business of Screen Acting I”, this course will take students’ newly discovered understanding of the complex business side of the industry, into the practicality of using these skills, in preparation for their senior thesis BFA showcase. In addition, “The Business of Screen Acting II” will explore alternative acting outlets; commercials, motion capture/ video games, voiceover/ animation etc. to better prepare students’ for success as they enter the professional world of entertainment. Letter grade. (Offered every year.) 3 credits
