CES 314 - Adult Learning: Theory, Practice, Experience and the Future


Prerequisite, one 200-level CES course. This course explores adult learners, why they learn, and how they learn in a range of formal and informal settings. Also explored are the philosophical foundations of adult learning theory and the changing dynamics of the profession taking into account global, economic, technological, and ethical issues. Letter grade. This course may be repeated for credit. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
