BIOL 417 - Medical Microbiology

Prerequisites, BIOL 217 or BIOL 317. Medical microbiology focuses on the structure, function, and pathogenicity of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. By examining infectious diseases and how they can be treated, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the interactions between microbes and the human body. This course includes only a lecture. Letter grade. This course may be repeated for credit. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
