PHYS 100 - What is Physics?

This course is an introduction to physics for students who are interested in majoring or minoring in the subject. Students are introduced to the key ideas of physics and its applications.  Topics include a survey of contemporary physics, careers that a physics major can lead to, and an introduction to the problem-solving methods used in physics. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered fall semester.) 1 credit
