WLC 300 - World Languages, Service Learning, and Civic Engagement

In this course, students identify, design, and lead service-learning opportunities in specific communities regionally and nationally. While refining their understanding of different cultures and putting into practice their passion for communication in languages other than English, students build leadership and develop functional use of the foreign language. The course is open to students from variety of backgrounds including global communication, world languages, and cultural studies. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
