PCST 200 - Introduction to Human Rights

What are human rights? This course examines the history and development of the concept of human rights as well as contemporary controversies within the field. Using case studies from various regions of the world, students examine the politics, pitfalls, and promises of human rights discourse. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option.
