AVE 247 - History and Aesthetics of Animation and Visual Effects

Prerequisite, Dodge College major, or game development programming minor, or visual effects minor, or animation and visual effects themed inquiry. Some sections may be open to non-majors. A historical survey of animated film and alternative media including 3D cinema, interactive media, immersive media, special effects cinema, and other non-traditional forms that augment and transcend photographic motion pictures.
