BCHM 335 - Biochemistry I-Biomolecules, Lecture and Laboratory

Prerequisite, CHEM 331. Biochemistry is study of the chemical and molecular interactions that occur in and constitute living organisms. In Biomolecules, students will examine the structure and function of the fundamental building blocks of life (carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and nucleic acids). This course includes a lecture and required laboratory component held at different times. Letter grade. (Offered every semester.) 4 credits
