SW 155 - Short-Form Film and TV Analysis

Prerequisite, Screenwriting or Writing for Film and Television major. Some sections may be open to other DCFMA majors. An immersion course into the world of short-form films and short-form TV. Films and series screened and analyzed will include: classic shorts that launched the careers of writers, producers, and directors; shorts that were expanded into features; short-form series that were expanded into half-hour and hour-long series; great short films and short-form series from different parts of the world; award-winning film-school shorts and short-form series; and segments from feature-length anthology films consisting of multiple short films.
