FP 446 - Storyboarding and Concept Art

Prerequisite, Dodge College major, or production design for film minor. The course focuses on traditional skills of drawing perspective sketches in the development of visual media. Topics include use of line, tone, and color in the development of 1 and 2 point perspectives. Storyboarding techniques are also presented along with related exercises. Students should leave this class with the ability to quickly sketch not only what they see but what they imagine. Letter grade. Fee: $75. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
