FIN 317 - Financial Management

Prerequisites, ACTG 210, ECON 200, ECON 201  and MGSC 209  or MATH 203  and MATH 109  or MATH 110, with a minimum grade of C- in each prerequisite. Principles governing the financial management of corporations with emphasis on the role of the financial manager; current asset management; financial structure; analysis of financial statements; evaluation of short-term and long-term funding sources; cost of capital and capital budgeting; evaluation of dividend policy; and financial forecasting. Letter grade. (Offered every semester.) 3 credits
