ECON 374 - European Economic History

(Same as HIST 374.) Prerequisites, ECON 200, ECON 201, with a minimum grade of C- in each prerequisite. This course analyzes the evolution of European economic institutions and the development of industry, commerce, and finance from the fall of the Roman Empire to the Industrial Revolution. It traces the historical path which culminated in European economic hegemony. Letter grade. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
