SPAN 326 - Reading and Interpreting Literature

Prerequisite, SPAN 202, or any 300-level SPAN course, or consent of instructor. Students develop reading and writing skills with the aim of attaining literacy in Spanish. Strategies and techniques for interpreting literary works in light of cultural context are emphasized. Required before enrolling in all upper-division literature courses. (Offered every year.) 3 credits
