HIST 324 - African History through Film, Literature and Music

This course explores the relationship between the creative genres of film, literature, and music and the history of colonialism, land and labor struggles, religious change, gender and the family, urbanization, African nationalism, and postcolonial conditions in Sub-Saharan Africa.
