ENG 270 - Foundations of Rhetorical Studies

Designed as a gateway to all upper-division rhetoric offerings, this course will familiarize students with major themes and epistemologies in the histories of Rhetoric. From ancient rhetorics to the complexities of postcolonial and gender rhetorical discourses, students will explore major theoretical shifts that encompass the study of Rhetoric in multicultural global spaces. (Offered every semester.) Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered every semester.) 3 credits
