GD 200 - Introduction to Graphic Design

Prerequisites, GD 102, GD 103, sophomore standing and graphic design major or art or art history or graphic design minor or consent of instructor. Corequisite, GD 201. This course is an introduction to graphic design. Course includes instruction in the discipline of graphic design and in basic Macintosh computer skills as well as use of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign. Graphic Design majors must receive at least a “B” in GD 200 in order to satisfy their major requirements. Letter grade. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
