SCC 200 - Message Design I


Prerequisite, strategic and corporate communication or strategic communication major, SCC 100  with a minimum grade of B-. This course covers the basic principles of creating an effective message campaign to be consistent with an organization’s purpose or goals. A major focus is to apply theories of persuasion and communication. Students will learn the initial stages of planning and designing message campaigns. Students will then implement and evaluate the message campaign in Message Design II. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
