COM 388 - Advanced Interpersonal Communication

Prerequisites, School of Communication major, COM 110 with a minimum grade of C and COM 100, or SCC 100 with a minimum grade of B- and COM 295 with a minimum grade of C, or as a corequisite. Relationships are a fundamental part of the human experience. This course will focus on understanding the communicative processes inherent in creating, maintaining, and dissolving a variety of close relationships. Issues related to interpersonal attraction, and self-disclosure are some of the topics that will be explored in-depth. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
