PD 576 - Historical Styles

Prerequisites, consent of instructor, production design program. Through a series of presentations, assigned reading, historically focused film study, and student-led visual research projects and presentations, students will learn the critical value of in-depth historical, conceptual, visual, and literary research as applied to the development of the motion picture design. Letter grade. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
