TWP 548 - TV Production Set Management

Prerequisite, graduate television writing and producing major. Analysis of procedures and problems in preparing a script for film, television and/or digital production. Emphasis on the roles of the Line Producer, Production Manager and First Assistant Director. The course will include script breakdown, creating shooting schedules, preparing budgets, planning post-production, and understanding the hierarchy of the producer’s and director’s teams. Letter grade. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
