PHYS 250 - Mathematical Methods in Physics

Prerequisite, MATH 210 . MATH 211  recommended. The course introduces students to mathematics used in contemporary physics. Numerous applications from classical mechanics, electrodynamics, and quantum mechanics are included as demonstrations of mathematical techniques. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
