MUS 310 - Opera Chapman

Prerequisite, consent of instructor. A class of selected students devoted to the study of scenes, ensembles and arias from the standard operatic or musical theatre literature, with emphasis on the singing actor, stage deportment, and the special techniques of the operatic singer. Performances of scenes, or complete operas, or musicals. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. May be repeated for credit as course content changes every semester. (Offered spring semester.) 1 credit
