MUS 238 - Improvisation: Techniques and Experiments

Prerequisites, pass MUS 102, MUS 135 with a “C” or better, or consent of instructor. The study of western and non-western improvisational technique (including jazz), theory, application, and aesthetic, with immediate and hands-on application by student-participants. (Offered every semester.) 1 credit
